Ciarlibo

The Wine

This Grenache rose spends 18-20 hours resting on the skins after the initial pressing. This extended maceration is what gives the wine it’s deep color.

‘Ciarlibo’ is a combination of the owners’ two dogs Ciarli and Bo. Diegale’ is a combination Diego and Alessandro, the vintner’s two grand children.

The People

After the arrival of their first grand-child in 2008, Alessandro & Paola Passerotti sought to find a way to live with their family in their homeland of Tuscany. Next came a big commitment for future generations: establishing a farm, winery and newly planted vineyards.
